Statement of Faith

Our beliefs

• We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19) (2 Corinthians 13:14)

• We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, was bodily raised from the dead, ascended to the Father, and now reigns as Lord. (John 1:1,14) (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) (Hebrews 1:3)

• We believe all people are created in the image of God but are fallen in sin and in need of reconciliation with God. (Genesis 1:27) (Romans 3:23)

• We believe that all who repent and trust in Jesus Christ are forgiven of their sins, born again by the Holy Spirit, and adopted into the family of God. (John 3:3-8) (Acts 20:21) (Romans 8:15)

• We believe salvation is by God's grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone. Jesus Christ is Lord, and salvation is found in Him alone. (Ephesians 2:8-9) (Acts 4:12) (Ephesians 2:8-9) (Acts 4:12)

• We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the only infallible rule of faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16-17) (Matthew 4:4)

• We believe the Holy Spirit continues to empower believers today for holy living, faithful witness, and service. (Acts 1:8) (Ephesians 3:16)

• We believe spiritual gifts remain active for the edification of the Church and the advancement of God’s kingdom. (1 Corinthians 12:7) (1 Corinthians 14:12)

• We believe the Church is the body of Christ, composed of all believers, and is called to worship, discipleship, evangelism, and mission. (1 Corinthians 12:12-13) (Matthew 28:18-20) (Romans 12:1)

• We believe in the bodily resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous, the final judgment, and the everlasting reign of God. (John 5:28-29) (Revelation 20:11-15)

• We believe Jesus Christ will return in glory and establish His kingdom in fullness. (Titus 2:13) (Revelation 11:15)
